Education
Mr. Kaneshiro received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. He also visited for one year at the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii. As a law student, Mr. Kaneshiro was a judicial extern with the Honorable Chief Judge J. Michael Seabright at the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, and for the Honorable Judge Bert I. Ayabe at the Circuit Court of the First Circuit of Hawaii. He also served as a Managing Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal, as the Vice-Chair of Internal Affairs for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, and as a Teaching Assistant in Torts, Civil Procedure, Legal Analysis, and the Academic Success Program. Mr. Kaneshiro also participated in the Hawaii Federal Trial Academy and the ASU Civil Litigation Clinic,representing low-income Arizona residents with unemployment and unpaid wages claims, and in a lawsuit against an unlicensed contractor.
 
During law school, Mr. Kaneshiro received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grade in Torts, Contracts, and Civil Litigation Clinic. He was also published in the Arizona State Law Journal. Doctored Claims, 52 Ariz. St. L.J. 667 (2020).
 
Professional Associations
Mr. Kaneshiro is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Hawaii. He is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
